OUR PROCESS

Every great custom build starts with a great first meeting. If you are interested in building a tiny house, contact us so we can set up a meeting to talk about what your needs and wants are and how we can help you achieve those goals.  We have a simple questionnaire for you to fill out so that we can make sure we are on the same page and that we fully understand your goals and dreams.

This phase is a confirmation of our understanding your style, wants, needs, and other information that we collected in our initial meeting.  We will create digital mood boards for you that reflect our understanding of the conversation to make sure that we are on the same page and moving in the right direction.  There is no charge for this part of the design process.

This is where the fun starts!  Upon receipt of your design deposit, we will start working on drawings of your custom build. With input from you and our experience designing and building custom living spaces, we will create a unique solution for your build and supply you with drawings and 3D renderings for you to review.  With some back and forth, we will land on a design that is the best blend of your needs, wants and budget.

Once the design process is wrapping up, we will move on to finalizing the design and budget. This where you will have at the opportunity to look over every detail of your new home before construction starts. When you’re ready, we will sign the contracts, get the deposits set up and start the materials on their way to the shop.

Every step in this process is designed to ensure that you end up with the home that YOU want.  This part of the process gives you the opportunity to make the final selections on all of the stuff that makes this home unique.  From flooring to paint colors to fixtures to all of the other details that make it yours.  Your tiny home is a blank canvas so feel free to create away!

Here we go! Our expert craftsman and tradesmen will start in on building your home.  Depending not the scope of the project and our current work on other builds, you build should take about 6-8 weeks to complete. Yeah!  That’s right!  Tiny houses don’t take long to build and we want to make sure you’re in your dream home as soon as possible.

Whether you need custom white-glove delivery and set up or you want to just swing by the shop with you truck and pick up your house.  We can accommodate.  Across town?  Across the globe?  No problem.  With our transportation parterres, we have lots of options for getting your custom tiny home build right to the spot on the globe where you want it to be.
